BLUEBERRIES · IN THE FRIDGE
7–14 days
A week is the number to plan on. UC Davis records ten to fourteen days at 0°C, but a home refrigerator runs warmer than a research cold room, so seven days is the honest home floor. That still makes blueberries the longest-lived berry you can buy.
These are quality windows drawn from published UC Davis storage research — an estimate of how long produce stays good, not a safety date. If the package carries a printed use-by date, that date governs.

Near the end of the window?
They freeze better than any other berry, and unlike strawberries they freeze loose and separate straight from the container — no tray, no hulling. Pull a handful out at a time. If a few have gone soft, those are the ones to cook with first rather than the ones to plan a week around.

Ranges are as published. Treat the short end as your real window — grocery produce is already days past harvest, and a cooked dish starts its clock at the stove.
Looking up your groceries one at a time is a hobby. A bad one.
Savery scans your grocery receipt and tracks these windows for everything you bought at once. The spinach, the strawberries, the milk you forgot about — all on one shelf.
